The March on Washington

The March on Washington was a life changing event for the USA and all of its people. The March on Washington happened on August 28, 1963 at ,well you guessed it Washington, D.C. The March on Washington happened because African Americans wanted jobs and freedom segregation. About two hundred fifty thousand people were at the March on Washington.

I think the March on Washington had such big impact on the USA because when the people were marching they went to the Lincoln Memorial to represent the freedom they once had. If you do not know what the Lincoln memorial is go to this site.
